In conjunction with Fairbanks Light Opera Theater, we’ve opened our summer season with Two Gentlemen of Verona, the Tony award-winning musical by Galt McDermot and John Guare, directed by Brandon Michael, who last directed Sweeney Todd for FLOT. Sweeney Todd won the News-Miner Reader’s Choice Award for Best Theatrical Production of 2010!
From the South American countryside to the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Two Gentlemen of Verona is a sexy, Carnival-style romp! Featuring a live band, a high-energy score, and a fantastic cast, Two Gentlemen of Verona is sassy summertime fun you don’t want to miss.

Our summer season could not happen without the support of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. We perform on campus at Jack Townshend Point, behind the Museum of the North. Free parking is available behind the Reichardt building.
